White labeled LOGIN form

#1

Hi Cory,

I have a problem regarding white labeling the LOGIN Form into the CMS.
The CMS is accessible from a subdomain on our server, via CNAME redirect.
The problem is that, at login it is a picture with the pencil.
Can we use our logo instead of that picture pencil? because it can be identified on Google as your brand picture.
With the LOGIN form you mentioned in your Docs, is not OK also, because, you are redirecting the user on edit-content.com !! he doesn’t remain on our own subdomain.
We have read the topic on this, but no other solutions are presented so far.

Looking forward to hear you soon,
Regards,

Not sure how this would be achievable, but would be a really nice feature for sure

We have managed to LOGIN via custom form in our subdomain area.
We altered the LOGIN form post action=“oursubdomain/domain/login” and it worked.
Another problem came across: we have this login form stored on a https page (customer website) and our subdomain where CMS is mapped is not working on https. Please help us on that.
We cannot add https on our subdomain which is mapped with edit-content.com, although edit-content.com is working on https… How is that possible ?

I really think a working solution is simply not displaying the pencil photo on the LOGIN form. This way, even when the user offers bad credentials, nothing its suspicious on other branding, it’s only a login form…

The pencil image hasn’t drawn any suspicion so far, but this is planned to be fully customizable based on CNAME in 6.0.

We cannot add https on our subdomain which is mapped with edit-content.com, although edit-content.com is working on https… How is that possible ?

This is because the SSL certificate is for edit-content.com, and the CNAME-d alias doesn’t match the certificate. We’re looking into solutions to enable this, either through Let’s Encrypt or possibly a service such as CloudFlare in 6.0 as well

Hi Cory
We are looking forward to see it happening asap
We are eager to test when you consider that will be ready !!! :smirk:
We think the most important features will be article snippet and blog section
we hope to not sell :money_mouth_face: the business to another IT Giant because they always don’t care about us and our business will be :skull:.
Also a big Hint don;t increase the price
