Publish Without HTML File Extension

#1

My site uses clean URLs on Amazon S3. Is there a way I can edit/publish pages from Surreal without the html file extension?

The short answer is no, since we use a white-list to determine which files can be enabled. There’s also a considerable amount of code that assumes a file extension exists.

This is on the list, but to be honest, I’d rather experiment with it in the new version than break what’s working well in the current one.

You could try using a .htaccess file to allow access to website.com/example rather than website.com/example.html

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately it seems hosting websites on Amazon S3 is fairly limited and doesn’t support .htaccess.
