Amazon S3 IAM User Example Policy

#1

If you’re setting up a static website on Amazon S3, here’s a starter policy you can use to ensure Surreal has the correct permissions:

{
    "Version": "2016-01-01",
    "Statement": [
        {
            "Effect": "Allow",
            "Action": [
                "s3:*"
            ],
            "Resource": [
                "arn:aws:s3:::YOUR_BUCKET_NAME"
            ]
        },
        {
            "Effect": "Allow",
            "Action": [
                "s3:*"
            ],
            "Resource": [
                "arn:aws:s3:::YOUR_BUCKET_NAME/*"
            ]
        }
    ]
}

Note that we’re allowing access to the bucket itself / and its contents /*.

This policy is very permissive, so once you get things up and running feel free to limit the actions to list/delete/read/write operations. :slight_smile:
