Thank you very much @atumra for sharing your solution that way i was able to fix the issue i faced when i tried to install mint mint 21.3 cinnamon on my lenovo ideapad 3. I made artwork original look new. I imagine mint will run better than windows 10 overall, especially in regards to updates (and not to mention it does not have a lot of junk running in the background to burn up.

My review of linux mint: Whether mint is a better ubuntu is a matter of opinion, and i guess you probably know what most mint users on this forum think about that. The primary reason i selected linux mint a decade ago was the linux mint forums, and the forums here is the primary reason i stick with mint.
On linux mint it is done differently, typically like how you install programs on app stores.

On linux mint you use software manager to browse/search for programs. It's certainly not 'blindly' following.
