(i was expecting another girl) and now i need to think of a name for this little guy!! I feel like i have looked at every name on the planet and i’m driving my husband insane. I’d much prefer the spelling adaline over adeline, i hate the nicknames adele, della, addie but love ada (rhymes with ava), but would adaline be too problematic?

I don’t know anyone who pronounces it with a “lyn” ending. I love the namesakes that [name_f]ada [/name_f] bring in. With my first, we chose her name and that was it, i never had the urge to. I love the name [name_f]ada [/name_f], so it’s option as a nn for [name_f]adaline [/name_f] nudges me that way.
