I haven't used it in years but am curious if possibly to work. If you want an alternative launcher to the official one, i can recommend polymc. It seems like they have ended support for the legacy launcher and thus you are unable to use it.

There are sadly some bugs with the new launcher which prevent players from playing.

Теперь там по умолчанию используется legacy launcher вместо adw launcher. Многое по сравнению с adw launcher там изменено. My main reason to delete it was, it was not showing my skin in newer version , 2nd it had a spyware.
