I would like to know how can i import a database in sql server 2005 from a previous recovered installation from a crashed unbootable windows 10, where i didnt had the oportunity to. You will have to download and install visual studio 2008 sp1, this adds the support for sql server 2008.

Now i want to have this version started within ssms via right click on the server and then click ´start powershell`. Or install an older generation of ssms which you use for sql 2005, and use 17.4 and newer for other versions. I have been thinking of using sql ce so that it's a tiny download for them. Tfs 2012 express on windows 2008 r2, and every couple of weeks os is becoming unresponsive due to sqlservr.exe taking up all the available memory. I would also need a tool that lets them create databases, add tables, and run sql queries, just like one can using.
