The quality of both the craftsmanship and components on my imx 1141 are the worst i have for all of my rods.honestly, for what loomis charges for those rods, it's a joke.i. Nice grey slate looking blank wrapped in a dark purple wrap with gold inlay (husky rod!!!). I received a th rainshadow xst1025f in the mail today.

I currently have a gl3 rod for. You are not logged in. I have heard that the lamiglas certified pro series is as good as the g.loomis gl3,and almost as good as the imx series of g. Has anyone had the opportunity to try the same model of g.loomis rod in both gl3 and imx?

How does the xmg 50 blank compare to the imx? How does the lamiglass xmg 50 exs96l compare to either an imx 1141s or an imx 1082s? Love just about everything about them. Is imx worth the approximately 25% price premium?
