Just got a couple more uno boards and find they come with a nice base. I understand this is possible and allowed according to arduino website learning. But no info on the screws.

I've finally got myself a virgin atmega328p and without uploading a bootloader, i've uploaded a simple variation of blink and thought it was broken until i realised that because i. The uno r3 had a 20ma pin current limit ( third party boards say 40ma), the datasheet for the uno r4 says 8ma max per pin. The ones for mounting the base to whatever are same as holes in arduino.
When i go to the device manager, it appears as usb serial (not as unknown device),.
Any things i should watch out when using analog pins as digital in/out. It seems a backward step. Go to tools > port, and select the dfu port (if available). I am trying to upload a program to my arduino uno, but there doesn't appear any port.
I'm working on a project that involves controlling an led strip using an arduino board, and i'm seeking guidance on the wiring and example code to achieve this. Go to tools > board , and select arduino uno r4 minima. Open the arduino ide (version 2.x recommended).
