I love the name [name_f]ada [/name_f], so it’s option as a nn for [name_f]adaline [/name_f] nudges me that way. Adeline should always be pronounced as “line” unless you’re french and then it’s “leen”. I much prefer [name_f]isabel [/name_f] to [name_f]annabel [/name_f].

With my first, we chose her name and that was it, i never had the urge to. I don’t know anyone who pronounces it with a “lyn” ending. (i was expecting another girl) and now i need to think of a name for this little guy!!
I feel like i have looked at every name on the planet and i’m driving my husband insane.
I love the namesakes that [name_f]ada [/name_f] bring in. [name_m]hi[/name_m], i [name_m]just[/name_m] found out i am having a boy! I love your daughter’s name [name]maren [/name] [name]elizabeth [/name]. I’d much prefer the spelling adaline over adeline, i hate the nicknames adele, della, addie but love ada (rhymes with ava), but would adaline be too problematic?
