On 10 july 2024, the royal malaysian customs department (rmcd) officially launched the implementation of its new compliance verification audit program (“audit verifikasi pematuhan”. This avip initiative offers taxpayers the opportunity to correct past discrepancies and ensure future compliance while benefiting from the penalty remissions provided by rmcd. We are pleased to provide an update on the recently introduced audit verification compliance framework (“avip”) by the royal malaysian customs department (“rmcd”).

Special voluntary disclosure programme (svdp) 2.0 provides an opportunity for taxpayers to come forward voluntarily to report their income and tax computations that are.
